Located a short 90 minutes south of Phoenix, this area has long been a popular choice for great, affordable golf. Once you start counting the number of courses and the variety of play they offer it’s no wonder. The open sky, vast panoramas and first-rate golf are hard to beat. With giant saguaros and pristine desert as far as the eye can see, year-round sunshine, local attractions, incredible aromas of authentic Mexican and Southwestern cuisine, an array or shopping options or just some serious hammock time, you’ll find it all in Tucson. Do play at Ventana Canyon (36 holes), Vistoso, Starr Pass (27 holes) and The Gallery. Hotel options range from 3 to 5 star and are located within a short drive of the courses.  

A Kamloops golf package offers the most accessible and reasonably priced golf trip in British Columbia. Kamloops is a three-hour drive for Vancouver residents. The traveling golfer touring British Columbia can access a Kamloops golf package along the Trans Canada Highway or the Yellowhead. Golf courses range from park settings, tree-lined layouts, to the steroid-driven desert championship tracks that test you at every tee box.

Tobiano Golf Course

Tobiano is a Thomas McBroom-Design and an award winning Kamloops golf course. This is a must play in your Kamloops golf package. You may become distracted from a critical three-foo putt for birdie when you take in the amazing views of Kamloops Lake. Another unique sight occurs when you look across the lake at a lengthy CN freight train traveling along the lake shore. At every turn, the views are spectacular. The practice facility at Tobiano is outstanding. The layout is demanding. Take your time at Tobiano. Enjoy the vibe. It's well worth it!

Big Horn Golf & Country Club (formerly Sun Rivers Golf Course)

Situated just across the bridge from the city of Kamloops, Big Horn is a golf course community. Kamloops golf packages with Big Horn G&CC offer spectacular views of the city, while looking up and down the mighty Thompson River. Many holes meander thru the housing community. Course conditions are always top notch due to the excellent drainage. Great value at Big Horn!

Talking Rock Golf & Quaaout Lodge

The Talking Rock golf course is a gem, situated on the banks of the Little Shuswap. This Graham Cooke-Design is an excellent course for all skills. It is a "what you see, is what you get" layout. Make Talking Rock part of a Kamloops golf package and enjoy the back nine as you start your accent to the 14th hole. The views of the Shuswap are incredible! Try to stay focused on the task at hand! The closing hole runs parallel to the lake shore. It's a wonderful way to complete your Kamloops golf package.

Rivershore Estates & Golf Links

Rivershore Golf Links is situated along the Thompson River. It's a golf course that looks quite friendly, but will test your ability on more than one occasion. It is about 20 minutes east of Kamloops on the Trans Canada Highway. When planning your Kamloops golf package, you can stay right next door at the South Thompson Inn. An award-winning golf course, Rivershore Golf Links is a Robert Trent Jones Sr. design. The layout can be played from 5,473 to 7,007 yards and is routed over rolling, river side landscape. Rivershore is the proud recipient of Golf Digest’s 4-Star ‘Places to Play’ award. It is also frequent Score Golf Top 100 facility.

Eaglepoint Golf Resort

Eaglepoint Golf Resort has experiences its share of challenges, The course lost thousands of pine trees due to the pine beetle infestation. However the transformation since then has been amazing! The new ownership has invested substantially in cleaning up the property by grinding the stumps and beautifying the course with flower beds. When you play Eaglepoint in your Kamloops golf package, you will be pleasantly surprised by the health of the turf. It no longer has to compete with tall trees for sunlight and moisture. Eaglepoint has also introduced an indoor golf simulator in their clubhouse. Eaglepoint is quickly re-emerging in the Kamloops region!

Kamloops Golf & Country Club

Tradition is what the Kamloops Golf & Country Club is about. A long established members club that is easily accessible by the public. We like to suggest this course at the beginning of a trip as it tends to play easier than many of the other Kamloops golf package courses. Plenty of dog-legs and tree lined fairways await! However, you will not get into too much trouble here.A wonderful, traditional layout, the Kamloops G&CC was built in 1914.

The Dunes at Kamloops

The Dunes at Kamloops is truly nature's golf course. Lush fairways carved effortlessly through the sand lead to meticulously kept green sites. Wild fescue and wheat grass is prevalent. Measuring from 5,390 yards to 6,973 yards in length, The Dunes caters to all levels of players with four sets of tees. Regardless of whether you are swinging a club for the first time or you're a seasoned pro, our goal is to ensure your experience is incomparable from start to finish. Sunpeaks Golf Course

Sunpeaks Golf Course is located literally at the ski hill. It is just shy of an hour's drive from downtown Kamloops. Ideally golfing here from June to September. Many of the fairways are tight, be sure to hit them straight! We can include Sun Peaks in your KAmloops golf package.

 

In the winter, (January to April) golf courses in the Tucson area are in their peak season, (highest rates) so you may need to book early. But if you can brave the summer heat, you can often enjoy these courses at significantly reduced rates.

Keep in mind that during the fall (September and October) golf courses will be involved in a maintenance process called overseeding. They don’t all do it at the same time but course availability and quality may be limited for 2 to 3 weeks.
