We had played SentryWorld Golf Course a number of times before the course was shut down for 20 months for a massive renovation. Opening back up in 2015, we really didn’t know what to expect. When we finally were able to get back on the course, we were ABSOLUTELY blown away by the improvements that were made. The first word that comes to mind from my day there is F-U-N-! Quirky holes were reshaped to become much more playable, and most of the green complexes were redone to accommodate every level of golfer.
SentryWorld found its way back onto Golf Digest’s
Top 100 Public Courses list in 2017, and rightfully so. Every inch of the
entire facility has been thought and and executed to perfection. It is truly
one of the finest golf operations that the state of Wisconsin has to offer.
Anyone that finds their way to Stevens Point for a round at SentryWorld Golf
Course will walk away very, very satisfied.
