One of two championship golf courses on-site in the heart of Mesquite and only 5 minutes north of I-15. It's a rugged design that compliments the character and charm of its natural setting. Large fairways and Bermuda greens make the course friendly for all skill levels but elevation drops, desert surroundings and gusty winds can play havoc with your score. Some of the holes played host to the Golf Channels' Big Break Mesquite a few years ago. The 18th is a rare par-3 that presents another hawk's view from the tee box, this one some 100 feet above the green. This hole plays down into a canyon with a waterfall spilling from the left side of the green to a pond that backs it with another stream on the right. Anything short or long is trouble. Depending on the wind, club selection can be anything from wedge to 5-iron.
