  • (Augusta comes to Bangkok at Asia's first & only replica course)
  • Designer: Ron Garl
  • Established: 2011
  • Location: North of Bangkok near Alpine Golf Club

The RG (Royal Gems) Golf City - Dream Arena is Asia's first replica course and combines nine of the best holes in the world with the back nine of Augusta National. Course designers have created the required extreme challenges and elevation changes from what was previously flattish farmland just outside Bangkok. Stepping onto the first can transport you, not just to holes you've never played, but to holes you wish you could.

Nikanti Golf Club
  • 18 holes par 72 (6789 yards)
  • (all-inclusive course & one of Thailand's best)
  • Designer: Pirapon Namatra, Golf East
  • Established: 2014
  • Location: West of Bangkok

Nikanti Golf Club is a unique 18-hole track situated in Nakhon Pathom province, west Bangkok. The work of Thai golf course designer and architect Piraporn Namatra of Golf East, Nikanti, is revolutionary in more ways than one. Nikanti sits in the fresh air among former rice paddies.

Pineapple Valley Golf Club Hua Hin
  • 18 holes par 72 (7361 yards)
  • (2009 Best New Course in Asia: scenic & well-maintained)
  • Designer: Golf East (Pirapon Namatra)
  • Established: 2008
  • Location: 5 kilometres south of Hua Hin

Built among a former pineapple plantation, Pineapple Valley Golf Club in Hua Hin opened in October 2008. Immediately following, the course was awarded 2009 Best New Course in Asia-Pacific by the readers of Asian Golf Monthly. Since then Pineapple Valley Golf Club, clubhouse, and staff have consistently claimed 'Top 3 in Asia' awards and have been featured in the 'Rolex Top 1000' in the World.

Black Mountain Golf Club
  • 27 holes par 72/36 (7343/3621 yards)
  • (one of the 100 best golf courses in the world)
  • Designer: Phil Ryan
  • Established: 2007
  • Location: 10 kilometres west of Hua Hin

Black Mountain was transformed from lush jungle and pineapple plantations and located around 25 minutes west of Hua Hin. Set in a valley surrounded by huge black granite rock-covered mountains, the Hua Hin golf course was the site for Asian PGA tour events in 2009 and 2010 and the Europe versus Asia match play Royal Trophy in 2011. In 2012 and each year since Black Mountain was selected as one of the 100 best golf courses outside the USA by Golf Digest magazine.

Alpine Golf Resort Chiang Mai
  • 27 holes par 72 (7541/3652 yards)
  • (host of 2013-14 Chiangmai Golf Classic)
  • Designer: Ron Garl, Golf East
  • Established: 2008
  • Location: off route 1147 near Lamphun

The Alpine Golf Resort Chiang Mai comprises some 450 rai of land nestles in a valley between the mountain ranges in the heart of the San Kamphaeng natural forests. It is undoubtedly one of the best golf courses in Chiang Mai. Alpine hosted the Asian Tour 2013 and 2014 Chiang Mai Classic and was put on the professional circuit and further recognized for its world-class layout.

Chiang Mai Highlands Golf and Spa Resort
  • 27 holes par 72/36 (7003/3601 yards)
  • (variety of holes and great golf, Chiang Mai's best course!!)
  • Designer: Lee Schmidt, Schmidt Curley Design
  • Established: 2005
  • Location: East of Chiang Mai near Sankampheng

The Chiang Mai Highlands Golf Club opened in 2005 and significantly added to the quality of Chiang Mai golf courses. The drive to Highlands from Chiang Mai leads through the stunning landscape, in an eastern direction passing rice fields and plantations into the mountains. The Chiang Mai Highlands golf course is built on a 'power spot' - the hermitage of Kuba Sivichai (the revered monk who founded the famous Doi Suthep temple).

Blue Canyon Country Club, Canyon Course
  • 18 holes par 72 (7179 yards)
  • (site of Tiger Woods' 1998 Asian victory and host of 2007 Johnnie Walker)
  • Designer: Yoshikazu Kato
  • Established: 1991
  • Location: At the north end of Phuket, near the Phuket Airport

Blue Canyon Country Club's Canyon Course was the original 18 hole layout and leaped to fame when selected as the venue for the 1994 Johnnie Walker Classic. Since then the same tournament has returned two times with Tiger Woods winning in 1998. Blue Canyon recognized as a world championship golf course continually ranks as one of Thailand's best golf courses.

Red Mountain Golf Club
  • 18 holes par 72 (6905 yards)
  • (Phuket's most exciting course; dramatic scenery and great golf)
  • Designer: Johnathan Morrow
  • Established: 2007
  • Location: Center of Phuket Island

It's not difficult to see why this Phuket golf course was named Red Mountain. It is harder, however, to imagine how such a dramatically undulating landscape, where soft red rock and dense jungle were the principal ingredients, could be transformed into a challenging, yet playable layout. Red Mountain Golf Course opened in 2007 and is now considered Phuket's most spectacular golf course.

Lotus Valley Gc - Thailand

It takes one and a half hours to reach Lotus Valley Golf Resort from Bangkok or one hour from Suvarnabhumi International Airport. Formerly the World Trade Golf and Sports Club, Lotus Valley Golf Resort is one of only a handful of Gary Player designed golf courses in Asia. The famous South African created a good balance of golf challenge, while renovations in 2005 brought in modern golf course construction methods, irrigation, and all new turf. The golf course has two conventional loops of nine holes adding up to a championship length of 6,955 yards from the tips and a par 72. Each hole represents its challenge and affords both an easy path to the green for par or a more risky route for a birdie chance. Water comes into play on every hole to some degree or another. True to Player's style and in leaning towards the traditional Scottish design, close cut fairways and fringes feature around the greens.

Royal Gems Golf And Sports Club - Thailand

At Royal Gems Golf & Sports Club, designer Garry Roger Baird has built a 'gem' of a course equal to his others. These include the Shuzu course of the Shishido Kokusai Golf Club in Ibaraki, Japan, and the Hermitage Course, a permanent LPGA tournament site in the United States. Royal Gems Golf Club is one of only a handful of Thailand golf courses to be an official member of the United States Golf Association and certified for professional championships. The club hosted a European Seniors Tour event in 2009. The environment around the Bangkok course is enjoyable and natural parkland. Royal Gems plays to 7,107 yards and features a handful of lakes, narrow fairways, thick rough, large bunkers and fast greens. The member’s only course is one of most stylish of all the golf courses in the greater Bangkok area.  Royal Gems has a mixture of American, Scottish and Thai features. Visitor play is allowed if staying at the onsite resort or booked through authorized agents.

Black Mountain Golf Club - Thailand

Pineapple Valley Golf Club Hua Hin - Thailand

Built among a former pineapple plantation, Pineapple Valley Golf Club Hua Hin opened in October 2008. Immediately following, the course was awarded 2009 Best New Course in Asia-Pacific by the readers of Asian Golf Monthly. Since then Banyan Golf Club course, clubhouse, and staff have consistently claimed 'Top 3 in Asia' awards and have been featured in the 'Rolex Top 1000' in the World. Thailand golf course architect Pirapon Namatra from Golf East designed the world class 18-hole championship golf course and is known to be one of the most natural in the country. The course provides for spectacular mountain and ocean views from almost all of the holes and is one of the best layouts in Hua Hin. Each hole has six tee boxes making the course more or less challenging depending on each golfer’s ability and tee selection. Strategically placed water hazards, waste bunkers, and sand traps are spread out throughout the course. Significant use of native pineapple groves makes local fruits come into play if straying too far off the fairways. Be careful, pineapple plants are sharp and scratch easily.

Nikanti Golf Course

Nikanti delivers a unique worry-free experience for all golfers. A smooth flow is ensured from moment of arrival, through check-in at the pro shop, within spacious and fully equipped changing rooms, at the staging/waiting area, and then on to golf course for the start of a thoroughly enjoyable round. Every step of the way, golfers enjoy smooth and unparalleled service and convenience.
Measuring 6,789 yards from the back tees, each group of six holes is distinctive in look, design, and play. Nikanti’s three six-hole golf course layouts offer enhanced play flexibility and convenience.  Meticulously manicured fairways and fast undulating greens are but a few of Nikanti’s renowned hallmarks, and the various landscape features will challenge even the most experienced golfer.  While length can be advantageous for those playing from the back tees, Nikanti places value on skilled shot-making and course management.

This 6-6-6 concept takes inspiration from the six senses in Buddhism and is part of Nikanti’s brand philosophy
