BCgolfguide has been online since 1997 and has evolved into the largest and most pro-active golf tour operator for Western Canada. BC Golf Guide has pioneered online golf resources for British Columbia. BC Golf Guide.com was re-developed back in 1998 by Ross Marrington. It started as a simple online tool to find golf courses and related topics. As our online presence matured and the family moved to Kelowna in 2002 (a golf mecca), it was the start of an amazing journey offering golf stay and play packages. Now 20+ years later, we are a staff of four spread across Canada, with staff in BC (Jane - bookkeeper and sister), Glen Erickson in Alberta and Danny Leitch in Ontario.
Kelowna golf packages was the first service introduced as packages were developed around a few small rental homes. Ross would create the Okanagan and Kelowna golf trips, welcome the guests at check-in, pop down and have a cold beverage during their stay to ensure their BC golf trip to Kelowna was everything they expected. Ross even pulled sheets from the beds in preparation for the cleaning staff and new guests.
Over
time, our BC golfer clients would ask about new destinations, and it was
then that the golf travel package business started to accelerate. New
golf vacations began to Kamloops, the Shuswap, Whistler, and Vancouver Island. The BC golf groups grew, and the repeat business mushroomed through word-of-mouth marketing.
We
have continued to re-invent the BC Golf Guide website for both the BC
golfers and our own BC golf package administration back end of the site.
We are proud to manage more than over 3500 golfers annually. We have
golfers from Alberta, Eastern Canada, the United States and worldwide.
No golf group is too small! We have handled arrangements for golf travellers from couples.'

In 1998, we were one of the only two Golf British Columbia websites and the very first to offer searchable webpages, incorporate video streaming, and an online golf member loyalty program. Then in 2002 literally falling into the BC golf travel business when the family moved to Kelowna. It all started with our rental homes on Pandosy Street and a simple one-page highlighting the Kelowna golf courses and how a group of 4 guys could enjoy the house, BBQ, relax in a home-like setting, and everything Kelowna offers. Those days of renting the three homes are long over, but the real enjoyment is those clients keep coming back to us to help them with the BC and USA and International golf vacations.
