In 2024, irrigation mainlines (which are primarily placed parallel to all fairways, tees and greens) were installed and successfully completed with virtually no impact to our golfing public. In 2025, the scope of work will entail the installation of 2-inch lateral lines connected to the mainline, the connection and integration of 1600 sprinkler heads by tees, fairways and greens, and the removal of the existing 1300 sprinkler heads.
To complete the final phase of this intricate project in a timely and safe manner, one hole at a time will be closed to facilitate installation. We want our partners and stakeholders to be made aware 18 holes will be in play at all times during this process. The par 4,17th hole, which measures at over 500 yards from the Championship tees, will be converted into a 345-yard par 4 and a 150- yard par 3. Our bent grass fairways enable us to build the highest possible quality green 345 yards from the tee, and the par 3 will play to the current 17th green.
