Canoe Creek Golf Course unveiled their new clubhouse in grand style on May 20th, guests were treated to a round of golf, champagne and snacks and to witness the ribbon cutting ceremony. In attendance were local business owners, staff from neighboring golf courses and representatives from the various businesses that have supported the Shuswap's latest golf course addition. Golf courser designer Dave Barr, local council, and owner David Patriquin were also in attendance. The talented Phyllis Patriquin actually opened the champagne bottle with a Japanese sword by slicing the head and cork right off! ".
 
Black Mountain Golf Club opens to the public on June 6th, and at $65 for a weekend green fee, that is something to smile about.
